I have never seen creepy Banana Republic commercials before. Set aside the fact that you can’t see or remember the clothing. I am referring to the 2019 commercial featuring skinny, contorted people modeling Banana Republic fashions in a dark, heavily shadowed staging.

A Completed Advertising Failure

If Banana Republic’s goal was to capture a small market portion for persons aged 21 and younger weighing 110 pounds soaking wet, then they hit the mark. This is more of the same trend in other TV commercials.

This commercial is an epic fail.
